Layout Selection for an Optimal Sewer Network Design Based on Land Topography, Streets Network Topology, and Inflows

چکیده

This paper proposes a methodology for the layout selection of an urban drainage system as extension to optimal sewer network design proposed by Duque, Aguilar, & Saldarriaga. The approach in this uses objective function that takes into account all input data problem, such as: land topography, street topology, and inflow each manhole. Once is selected, optimally designed using dynamic programming. problem solved mixed-integer programming divided two steps. first step tries define initial topology topography criterion. allows hydraulic approximation network’s construction costs. second obtained previous process establish costs arc can be part layout. order minimize so cost also minimized. was successfully tested on three case studies: Chicó Duque et al. benchmarks from literature.
